A Question for Ken
-
I’m helping a guy who I suggested use the “Kalins Post Plugin” for displaying a page of his posts.
I know it’s difficult without seeing what he’s doing, but he is trying to insert a thumbnail image for each of his posts .
Here is a link to his current page:

Any suggestions?

He needs to add the
[post_thumb]
shortcode somewhere in the “List item content”, which will display the featured image as a thumbnail. It helps if all the images are the same size, or at least the same proportions. (It’s really difficult to clip a picture that isn’t absolutely positioned using CSS.)Thanks Ken.
I’ll post back shortly.
His response:
Did this, and it just shows the URL to the featured image. Not the
featured image itself. I’ll leave it for now, since like only 3
people see the site currently.
Any idea? Check the link again from above. Or should we let him be?
Mod
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that it has to be wrapped in an
<img>
tag. Sorry. Should look like this:<img src="[post_thumb]" style="whatever;" />
I still haven’t heard anything back on that last response. I’ll let you know as soon as I do. Also, I sent him the link to your tutorial regarding the plugin. His name, ironically, is Ken.
Thanks for the help. I’m gonna mark this as resolved for now.
I am also trying to get an image to display next to my list of posts generated using the “Kalins Post Plugin”
I have tried the suggestion above, but am not getting any graphic to display – it does not find an image at all. Is [post_thumb] the correct syntax for what I am trying to do ? Or what have I missed please…

I don’t see an image in those posts. Did you include a featured image the plugin can grab?
