A gap above the header with the top bar hidden..

  • Greybox

    With the top bar hidden there is still a pixel high space gap above the header. This creates a little problem if I want to quickly blend the header and the background without altering the color scheme every time I change the header and the background. Is it possible to get rid of that gap?

    I have just figured out that “Header top border” should be clear. I hope this will help somebody else.

    Marking thread as resolved. You can do this yourself as well.

    Actually, not. I noticed after I clear “Header top border” the line doesn’t disappear turns into black (#000000). I wonder if finding the right color is the only way to resolve this?

    Basically, I would like to be able to move the header one pixel up to cover that space, or even better make it transparent and show a part of the background. This would be very helpful for fancy bitmap headers and backgrounds.

    Add this to Custom CSS.

    #header {
    border-top: none !important;

    It worked, thank you!

    Is there any way to make it transparent instead of disabling? And change the height from 1 pixel to 3 pixels, for example?

    #header {
    margin-top: 3px;

    You might need to remove/alter container box-shadow though.

    Perfect!!! That’s exactly what I need!

    And how do I remove/alter the container box-shadow?

    Thank you very much for your help!
