I use a container width of 1150 and left, right sidebars of around 200. http://snbchf.com

I have just looked on it on a widescreen monitor, but the left and right space are not used.

I would like to know what I need to do in order to get the box wider, but not always, but when the user is on a wide screen.

Just leave container width empty? What about the sidebars in this case?

Your monitor is not a television screen. That space on either side is not wasted; it is what keeps your content to an optimal width for reading even on very wide monitors. Without it, your content becomes so wide that it is difficult to read. Any site that is difficult to read is a real disincentive for people to return to it.

You are describing a fluid-width theme. Graphene is not a fluid-width theme.
