Hi everybody,

I am seeking some help about my site running on WordPress and the theme Graphene.

I would, if possible, display below the slider (slide up) the latest articles in 4 blocks, but especially by excluding the top 5, as they appear in the slider, to avoid duplication. And under this, rest of articles.

Not knowing the php code, but knowing tamper with the files, I hope to find some help here. Tell me the code to display portions of a given page, if you wish.

Or, do I enter the wrong direction, and should I make a static page, to include what I want? by the cons yet, what is put inside, because I know the php … : (

Use static front page and enable homepage panes. But, there is no definite way to avoid duplication of posts in slider and homepage panes except moving your posts around different categories and exclude that category from slider or homepage panes.

Ok, thank you for your answer. By definition, What is a slide show? to highlight the pages or news?

I don’t understand “and enable homepage panes” ? sorry i’m french… 🙂

1. May be you’re referring slider as slideshow. Slider is the rotating box which shows excerpt of recent/random posts or selected pages.

Slider in your site,

2. Homepage panes are the recent post listing area which will be displayed below the static frontpage. It will automatically enabled when you use static front page in WP. (Visit my site to view homepage panes. I’m using one column. You can make in 4 using custom CSS.)

Quelle option avez-vous validé pour avoir la présentation de vos articles sur deux colonnes ?

J’utilise le même thème depuis un certain temps et je n’ai jamais réussi à le faire !

eh bien, vous allez rire, mais je ne sais pas 😀

Je vais investiguer un peu car j’avoue que c’est un peu ce je voulais, mais sans savoir comment c’est arrivé 🙂

Bonsoir,

Aie, aie, aie, on est mal !

Plus sérieusement, ma version de Graphène est la N° 1.5.4.

Je sais qu’il y en a une de plus récente, mais je n’ose pas faire la mise à jour, vu le nombre de fichiers que j’ai modifié pour arriver à ce que j’ai à ce jour !

Et comme je ne maîtrise pas bien les thèmes enfants…

One little question for Prasanna. You say i make in 4 columns with custom CSS, but how did it ???

Theres is 2 columns for the moment, and i don’t know how did it… what’s the file control it ?

Petite question pour Webneta :

Quelle est votre version de Graphéne ?

Je crois avoir compris la méthodologie pour le thème enfant. J4ai été faire un tour là-dessus : http://www.prasannasp.net/graphene-child-theme-template/

(je l’ai installé )

et sur : http://codex.wordpress.org/fr:Th%C3%A8mes_Enfant

je pense qu’il faut copier dans “enfant”, l’ensemble des fichiers du thème qui on été modifié dans “parents”.

Puis activer le thème enfant, çà doit rouler…

J’utilise la 1.6.1.1, je viens de voir qu’il y a une 1.6.2.

Je vais essayer ce child theme 🙂

EDIT : Je ne comprends pas grand chose à tout çà…
