What I did was:
1. make a new folder in themes called graphene-child
2. made a new style.css file and pasted in just what was in the custom css box in my dashboard/graphene options panel.
3. activated the theme
4. Clearly there are more steps I need to take given the way it now looks…
But when I set up the child theme and activate, I’ve lost all of my header images, customizations, menu settings, etc. I have to redo them all to use a child theme?
So when I create the child theme, all of these css tweaks would go in the new styles.css file in the child folder?
Soo close…still a bit of grey at the bottom

Any suggested tweaks?
Thanks 🙂
Actually now that I think about it when I tried to update it, it said it didn’t work with my operating system, which is a totally up to date mac os x.
True. Jeez that one isn’t very old though.
Thanks again.

Safari 5.0.5
Weird, on my laptop (both macs) I’m running Safari 5.1 and it looks fine. So it’s just an older Safari issue I guess? Weirdness.
Thank you both so much for all of your help and fast responses…it’s hugely appreciated!
The page looks good now except one more question 🙂
How can I get rid of the grey background bar just under the second line of menu items, like just under the links to “About Laura” “Juicy Travels Blog” and “Juicy Travels”, above the title itself (the blue About Laura van Hoff).
And, the same grey bar at the bottom of the page just above the footer black box?
In other words I just want white between top black background menu items and black footer box.
Thanks again!
