That makes sense. I’ll make a mental note 😉
The ‘Tweet’ button is overlapping the ‘Like’ counter, can I do something about that?
Also the counter doesn’t work, as it is always showing the mystery number ’47’ and Google+1 always ‘4’.
@ Josh I actually tried both, but they wouldn’t work.
You wouldn’t happen to know the difference between the
.
and the#
when working with CSS would you?Maybe a stupid question, but I tried adding it to my child theme like this
#addthis_toolbox {
padding: 10px 0 0 0;
}But that didn’t work. What am I doing wrong?
Sure 🙂
<!-- AddThis Button BEGIN -->
<div class="addthis_toolbox addthis_default_style ">
<a class="addthis_button_facebook_like" fb:like:layout="button_count"></a>
<a class="addthis_button_tweet"></a>
<a class="addthis_button_google_plusone" g:plusone:size="medium"></a>
<a class="addthis_counter addthis_pill_style"></a>
</div>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://s7.addthis.com/js/250/addthis_widget.js#pubid=ra-4eb1b0cc416e1e9b"></script>
<!-- AddThis Button END -->@ Kenneth Thanks, the post made this really easy to achieve! The only thing I would like to do now is to have a little more space above and less space below. What is the best way to do this? 🙂
And a weird problem, the Twitter counter seems to always be on ’47’.
Maybe we can also add this info to the themes wiki?

I’m quite stunned now, this problem seemed to have solved itself (I had this problem for a week or so)
The difference is that Beatport is an online shop for music, that offer almost all electronic music, and when I post about an album my readers can listen to previews of the entire album and also buy it if they’d like.
I use SoundCloud for separate songs, remixes and free downloads (it would be a lot of work to add every single track of an album trough SoundCloud, unless they made a special set). A lot of starting producers who make tracks and remixes put them on SoundCloud.
I just depends what is the easiest to add in the end 😉
Thanks for the response 🙂
@ Josh Then the buttons would show above the content, and I want them below it 🙂
@ Kenneth Thanks, I am going to read through the text and try it out!
I am seeing them too now, I expected them to be in a different place, my bad.
I would like to have then on the frond page (so without clicking on the post) aligned left above the tags.
Update: made a new post about showing them on the front page here:
Yes! Just checked again (and otherwise the field for the code doesn’t appear).
