Drop down menus, Safari on iPad
-
My website uses drop down menus.
I think they worked successfully previously on Safari on the iPad, but I just noticed it is difficult or impossible to select sub items from the drop down lists.

Chrome on the iPad handles the drop downs fine, and Safari on the iPhone seems ok too.
Is this a known issue?
Do the Graphene drop downs use regular WordPress code or Graphene’s own code?
Thanks
Adrian
AdminHow is it impossible? Is it because you can’t make the dropdown appear without “clicking” on the parent menu item, or is it because you can’t “click” on the dropdown menu item no matter how you accurate you tap on it?
On my iPad, If I tap lightly on the top level menu item, the drop down list appears as expected.
But no matter how accurate I tap on an item in the drop down list, it is almost impossible to make a click work on a drop down menu item in Safari.
Ok in Chrome on the iPad.
If you have access to an iPad you can try this on my site (link above)
I think bsacue has a different problem.
My problem was the inability to select child items in dropdown menus in Safari on the iPad.
It turns out that the problem only occurs if I am logged in as an admin and the admin bar is displayed at the top of the screen.
If I logout, the dropdown menu items are selectable in Safari on the iPad.
Since the problem is limited to admins, it’s not as severe as I had thought, and I can live with it.
I switched to the TwentyTwelve theme and the same problem is still there.
So maybe it’s a general WordPress problem and not a Safari problem
