Different widgets for different pages

I am wondering if different pages on a website in this theme can have different widgets? (I know that the home page can have different widgets than the other pages).

So, let’s say that I want page A to have a side bar widget with a picture of a bird, page B to have a sidebar widget of a dolphin, and page C to have a sidebar widget with a tiger. Is this possible? (I know how to put images in the widgets, I just don’t know if the widget contents can change on every page).

    Thanks!

    You will need this plugin:

Thanks; I downloaded the plug in my WordPress site. I see that it adds check boxes so that I can decide which pages a particular widget will show on.

One thing I still can’t figure out is how to make each page have a different content in its widget areas. Can you help me figure that part out?

    Let’s take a simple example.

We have three pages; Apple, Pear, Orange

We will create three widgets; one with an image of an apple, one with an image of a pear, and one with an image of an orange.

For the apple widget, we will hide it on the pear and orange pages.

For the pear widget, we will hide it on the apple and orange pages.

For the orange widget, we will hide it on the apple and pear pages.

And you can do this with images, text, custom widgets, search forms, login widgets…

    The possibilities are pretty limitless.
