Can't get Facebook to work

I am in the Graphene option under “social sharing buttons” and I went to Facebook to get the code for the like button. It gives me the options: HTML,5, XFBML, IFRAME, and URL I have tried them all in the area where you are suppose to paste the code and nothing is showing other than sometimes the code appears at the top of the page after saving. Is there something else I am suppose to do?

On facebook where you generate the code for the like button at the top it says: Include the JavaScript SDK on your page once, ideally right after the opening <body> tag. Is this something I need to do?

If you go the LIKE button generator Here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/like-button

How would you implement the code into graphine?

It’s really difficult to use the code Facebook provides on that page with WordPress, as it requires either hacking your theme, or creating a child theme. That code is more for people writing web pages from scratch.

There are plenty of Facebook plugins for WordPress, have you tried any of them? Additionally, Graphene can easily make use of code from a site like addthis.com.

Oh, OK I just thought that since it was on option in graphine it would be

better to use it. I will look for a plugin. Thanks for getting back with me
