Would be Great If Popular Uber Menu Premium Plugin compatibility problem could be fixed

Right now this plugin works smoothly with many themes. But I noticed when using it with the Graphene Theme there is one minor issue. In order for it to work perfectly you have to go into the graphene header file and change <div id=”nav”> to something different for example like <div id=”ubernav”>, In order for a uber menu issue to be fixed. This is fine with me to do on every theme update as I dont mind, but I noticed that when I view my website from an old version of Internet Explorer for example, then the Uber menus background defaults to being transparent due to have that small piece of code changed.

🙂 Thanks for all the help

What does this plugin do that cannot be accomplished with a custom menu and child theme? It sounds like bad coding if you have to edit theme files. (<div id="nav"> is fairly standard to WordPress, I believe.)

Older versions of IE are not supported. How old a version are we talking about here?

Hi Kenneth, It is a very well coded plugin, and it is better for me then doing it with a child theme because of the ease and the abundance of options to make it unique quickly.

I would love to give you an email to ask the plugin author and I can also link a thread that I started on there end on there support form so they can see the reference if you would like to email them. Maybe it is something other then the div id that caused the issue with this theme but that was the fix for it.
