The Option to choose where to show AddThis

Maybe it would be a nice Option to choose where to show the AddThis-Buttons:

Posts & Pages / only Posts or maybe define it per Page

Sometimes it doesn’t make sense to show them on Pages (like Legals, Contact, About) and they look a little strange on Pages like these.

I’m thinking of implementing it in this way:

There would be a global setting to enable or disable the AddThis button in Posts and/or Pages, but you can also set the setting in individual pages, which will override the global setting.

By extension, this can be implemented for the AdSense ads as well.

Quite a fair amount of work. The next update will probably take some time.

Yes it would be handy to be able to control individual categories for AddThis and Adsense.

For Adsense it would be mainly useful for affiliate marketing for example if you had 2 categories that are quiet different like:

    Food and Pets

you would need 2 different adsense scripts as each one would have different channels.

Keep us posted and keep up the good work!!

Once i get my first site up and running http://www.ehealthfitness.com.au i will definately donate!!

    Thanks again for the support!!

I’d like to be able to show the add this icons on the front page of my blog (www.ggci-blog.com) in addition to showing them on the blog post permalink pages. I’ve set up a child theme, but cannot figure out what code snip to put where. Suggestions?
