Category view doesnot show Thumbnail
-
Hi,
I am experiencing something strange that Post thumbnail shown perfectly on frontpage, however it is not shown in category view.
frontpage http://antiagingscore.com/
category view http://antiagingscore.com/category/diet/
Is there a setting to control this behavior?
How to make the thumbnail display in category view?
AdminGo to Graphene Options > Display > Excerpts Display Options, and then tick the option called “Show full content in archive pages”.
After change the settings. It’s still not showing the Thumbnail.
And with this setting on. It’s defeating the purpose of showing a “category view” where we want the visitor to see all relevant posts with Thumbnail and they can choose which post they want to click in and read.
I am a bit confused here.
Can you explain how this setting can help?
AdminHow do you add the post thumbnail for the posts? Are you using the Featured Image feature of WordPress?
We did not use featured image option.
The post is generated using a plugin. The plugin maybe using custom field.
I hope to find a solution without the needing to go through all these posts and adding a thumbnail to feature image again.
What is the difference of display posts on homepage vs category view?
Is there a fix that to force WordPress to load the category view as homepage?
thank you for your support.
AdminLooks like the category view is showing the images just fine:

Perhaps the posts for the “Diet” category really have no image added to them?
