We have the blog posts on the home page. And the posts are displaying in two columns, with a sidebar. I would like one column blog posts plus the sidebar. All the other pages are correct, but I can’t get the home page fixed. Any suggestions? I feel like I’ve tried everything. Thank you!

Thank you, Kenneth. When I try that, it hides all the blog content. I want the most recent posts to show, but in a single column, not two columns. Is that possible? Thanks!

How did you set up your front page? Are you using a static front page?

No – the front page is supposed to display the most recent blog posts.

But it doesn’t look like the typical home page listing blog posts. What are your settings in WP Admin > Settings > Reading?

YES! You’re a genius! I did have that set to static page – clicked off that button and it did the trick. Thank you so much!

The home page was working after I changed the settings in WP Admin > Settings > Reading from “a static page” to “latest posts.”

But now, if we leave the home page for a different page, and return to the home page, all the latest posts are missing. All we see on the home page is the sidebar and the heading “Home” – no posts. Any ideas why?

Go to WP Admin > Appearance > Menus, remove the Home menu item, and add the correct one.
