Hi,

Do we still need the “Graphene Mobile Neo Helper Plugin”?

If so, why?

Why the NEO theme can’t be configured without it?

Yes, you still need the helper plugin. It’s required to load part of the theme’s codes while in WP Admin so that you’ll have the GM Neo Options even when the theme isn’t activated. Besides that, it fills in for the limitation in the way that themes are loaded in WordPress so that certain advanced features can be made available.

Yes, you still need that helper plugin.

Since only one theme can be active in WordPress, you cannot use GM Neo options when another desktop theme is activated. But the helper plugin loads the theme initialization file so that you can configure it without actually activating it.
