Image in Slider not working

Hi There

I’ve just upgraded to Graphene 1.9.1 and i’ve noticed that when I assign a page to the slider, the image does not show up. However, when I click on the slider and it takes me to the page, I can see it.

The slider settings are as follows:

What do you want to show in the slider: Show specific posts/pages

Slider image: First image in post

I’ve set the other two sliders like this and i’m not sure what I have done wrong.

I’ve just done some experimentation and i’ve set the image to ‘Feature Image’ for all the slides. That now seems to bring the image up in the sliders but does not show it on the page.

That is correct, the “Featured Image” is not automatically added to posts or pages when they are viewed. You’ll still have to insert the image into the posts/pages even if you’ve selected them as featured image. The reason for this is that the featured image is used for several things (other than the slider), and some users might not want the image to be shown in the posts/pages when they are viewed.

Just updated to Graphene 2.5.1 and the same problem occurs. No image for the sliders; just the brief summary appears. I have selected the check box to include the posts with featured images.

Forgot to mention that it appears that we have to upgrade to the latest version of Graphene Plus; in order for the slider to work correctly. Is this correct or not?

Have we got a solution for this yet please I will selected feature image in all my posts but now they all disappeared from the slider and I’ve changed nothing just updated
