Hiya. I am struggling a tiny bit, one very simple, and another a bit more complex.

I changed the top bar to red, as I thought it looked better than black, but somehow I’ve reverted it back again, and the code I used in custom css didn’t work. Can anyone drop me the code to do this please?

The other, I was wondering, is it possible to make the top bar actually transparent, (retaining the background image of the site) but keeping the social media buttons on the left hand side?

I’ve tried one thing in CSS and that’s what made it revert back to black

How did you change the background of the top bar? Via the theme’s options page or via Custom CSS?

Hi. I changed it to red using custom css. That bit I’ve sorted out now using the action hook option. I selected header.php and top_bar, and then I could change the colour as normal in colours.

Is it possible to make it transparent though? I like the idea of the social media buttons in the top left to still be there, but the very top of the site being still the background and not the now gradient top_bar?
