Graphene displays most recent post double on frontpage (1.8.4.)

I want all my post to display only once on the homepage.Instead, the most recent post is displayed twice. ( Graphene 1.8.4. on windows 7)

I have done some research online, and tried using solutions of older topics were people had the same problem only with older versions.

I am aware of R203 (https://code.google.com/p/graphene/source/detail?r=203) and have tried fixing it by myself without succes, since it only works for older versions.

Does anyone have the same problem, or is there a solution to this problem?

Do you have any plugins installed? Try disabling them to see if it’s a plugin conflict. Otherwise, try resetting the theme’s options and see if that fixes it.
