How to expand width of a short code widget I have in my footer??

    ( SORRY PLEASE MOVE TO SUPPORT)

    In my footer I have contact me, and FAQ as links but when I added the word advertise as a link it boxed up instead of stretching. I cant figure out how to expand it in my footer so everything I add can just expand to the right and not into a box.

    Is there a code I can place in my child theme? Thank you for your help

    the widget I am using by the way is short codes ultimate in an action hook.

    It is occupying the full width of its parent container. As Syahir indicated earlier, to make extensive changes to your footer, you would need to use a child theme with a custom footer template.

    how can I learn to make a custom footer template ? where can I start ?
