ow to order an image that is to appear on the slider as points 1 and to move the text given in point 2 go to point 3 please help

To show image in slider, first go to Graphene Options –> Slider Options and select Featured image or First image in post in Slider image. Then, if you want to show just thumbnail and excerpt, select Thumbnail and excerpt in Slider display style. If you want to show full width image, select Background image and excerpt. For background image, you have to set a featured image of greater or same dimension as the slider.

To move that marquee to above the slider add that to graphene_before_slider action hook.

It seems the marquee thing is sorted out.

Upload a featured image for your posts and that will be used as slider background. You can also insert custom image URL for slider background while editing posts/pages.

I have to go anywhere to be able to enter the scrip on the day of the date in the menu bar???

See this post – http://www.prasannasp.net/how-to-add-date-to-graphene-theme-top-bar/ . You may try adding the date to graphene_top_menu action hook. YMMV.

There’s nothing wrong with being a newbie but at least try to get the name of the person helping you right. We tend to go to extra length to help people when they write their forum post properly – shows a lot about how much effort they’ll put in in whatever they do.
