Hi
I have Graphene child theme activated.
Can anyone tell me why mobile theme does not function?
Insert http://minmadopskrift.dk with a mobile.
Press mobile theme off, the FrontPage appears correctly in the phone.

Looking forward to hear your replies
Best regards

Your mobile site shows up fine here
That’s what the normal behavior! If you turn off the mobile version, it shows the desktop view on mobile. What else you’re expecting?

Quote:I’m just wondering, why use mobile settings “on” when the page is displayed perfectly in “off”?Mobile themes are optimised for the small screens of mobile devices. If you display the desktop site on mobile devices, your users will have to frequently zoom in and out , scroll sideways, etc. to read the text and navigate around the site.
Hi Syahir Hakim
Thanks for your reply.
Today, small mobile phones are not so common, as big smart phones with touch.
Therefore, the website will look better, in original appearance. (Pictures slider. etc.)
Is it possible to make the setting “off” to default?
Then, users having small mobiles can press setting “on” if they want

I have to disagree with the second line there. Even big smartphones have a screen size of about 6″, which is tiny compared to common monitor sizes (19″ – 27″). It is unlikely that your reader will be able to read the text on the website and navigate properly without having to zoom in. Imagine having to “press” on the navigation menu item of the desktop theme with relatively “fat” fingers.
