Add external link to header image

I need to add to the header image a link to another website. For instance, if the header image is a landscape with a little tree on the right, i need to add an external link on the tree. Is it possible?

Go to Graphene Options -> Advanced -> Action Hooks

check graphene_header

Go to Widgets and add a Text widget on the new widget area.

Thanks for the answer, it works.

But…How can i put the link in a little part of the image? (f.i. bottom-right?) …I think i need “area shape” html code…..rect coords..etc???

You need an image map.

There are online image map generators available. Just upload your image, define your areas, and the site will create your image map.

A filter hook graphene_header_link is actually there, in case you want to link the entire header image to an external site.. #JustSaying
