'View full post' link overlaps excerpt text in slider

    I have a small glitch in my slider at http://www.weightlossladder.com

    Whenever I have a longer post title that goes into 2 lines, the ‘View full post’ link overlays the excerpt text behind it (because the text has been pushed down by the space taken up by 2 lines of title). Is there a way I can manually alter the size of the post excerpt so that this doesn’t happen?

    I use the ‘more’ function in every post, but don’t know how this correlates to an automated excerpt as appears to be the case here.

    Also, one other thing, for all my ‘read more’ links I would prefer it if they went to the standard post url, rather than an altered url that takes them to the part of the post where they left off. How can I change this please?

    You can change the number of words in the slider excerpt length. See this post.
