Hello, I’ve been using your theme for years now and love it. I would love to see you add some shortcode into the theme as some of the paid themes have.

For example:

I do not know how much coding it would be to add a feature like this, but it would be greatly loved by this novice user.

You can easily add whatever shortcodes you wish if you use a child theme. If you just want some multicolumn shortcodes, let me know.

the shortcodes in those themes adds a drop down menu in the editor to apply the shortcodes where you want them. is that easily done?

Yup. In fact, using Josh’s plugin, you can add shortcodes automatically. (I think–I’m not at home right now, so I’ll check later and get back to you.)
