Hi,

I have installed WP 3.4.1, that’s all ok. After a few days, i have this message: Errore RSS: WP HTTP Error: connect() timed out!Errore RSS: WP HTTP Error: couldn’t connect to host and this it’s the cause of slowly edit of the administrator work. What’s happened? (sorry for my little english).

It appears most (many? all?) have not encountered this error before, so let’s start with standard de-bugging protocol:

1) Disable all your plugins to make sure it is not a plugin conflict of some sort.

2) Switch to the 2011 theme to make sure it’s not a theme-related issue.

I searched the WordPress forums, and found a few threads concerning this. This one seems to be the most promising:

The discussion gets technical quickly. Sorry about that.

There is also this post, but it involves hacking WordPress core files. I strongly recommend against that.

While it will eliminate the error, it’s not really taking care of the problem, which could be host-related. It’s hard to tell.

Thank for the reply.

I’ve tried to disable the plug in one by one, and now it works (!!!). It seems the problem with Facebook widget called RSS Facebook page in Facebook AWD all in one. I disable it and then able it. Many thanks. 🙂
