Graphene slider is BROKEN :-( and I think I have tried everything. Please help!
-
I read through most of the “broken slider” threads, tried to uninstall and reinstall the pluggins but I can’t seem to get the slider on the homepage to work again. I went into the Graphen Options>General>Slider Options and then to the Front Page Options… I cant get it to work! Please help. I will say this, I haven’t installed any new plug ins, just asked my server host to take down the site for a few months and once it was back up, I just changed the background from an image to solid while background.

Your slider is working fine on my end. Are you getting any error messages?
Kenneth!!! Thank you for replying.
You know what I just noticed– it’s not working in Explorer for me. I opened up a browser in Mozilla Foxfire and the slider is working!!
How odd, right?!
Do you know what I could do to make it work in Internet Explorer?

Quote:How odd, right?!No, not really. IE is the worst browser out there. You should abandon it immediately.
Quote:Do you know what I could do to make it work in Internet Explorer? The theme supports IE9 and IE8, and to a limited degree, IE7. It does not support IE6. It is a real pain to write hacks to make such ancient software look and behave like modern browsers. It’s like trying to get a WWI biplane to fly as fast as a modern jet fighter.
For what it’s worth, when I looked at your site in IE9, the slider is working fine. Which version of IE are you using?
Don’t laugh- I had to Google “which version of ie am I using” – I am using version 8…
I agree with you- IE is theeeeeeeee worst. We don’t have Windows 7 installed yet, so I can’t download the IE9.
I will just stick to viewing and making my changes in Mozilla.
THANK YOU SO MUCH Kenneth John Odle for replying to my thread to make sure I’m good 🙂 You rock!
