Inserting a Image Slider

First of all I just wanted to thank you for this great theme! I would like to add a image slider to the home page (static page). I see the option in the Slider Options, however I believe the slider only shows images from the posts. I don’t have any posts, but would like to still have a image slider on the home page. Is there a way to do that?

This is possible, but for your purposes it may be easier to just forgo the default Graphene slider and use a dedicated image slider instead.
