Since the update, my slider is working and I’m getting the text but not the image above is an empty box and I haven’t found if anyone else is having the same problem.

Do those posts have featured image? If not, you might want to change the slider option to use “First image in post” rather than featured image.

I’m not sure off hand. I know on the older version of graphene it just grabbed the last 5 post and if I had an image it included it.

Wait that looks like it corrected it. I’m a non-coder that is still on the new side of WordPress and with all the changes of graphene’s update, I’m still trying to learn what’s changed and how I can make it work.

Quick question should I be using Featured Image?

Yes, you should use Featured Image since it gives you exact control over which image to show in the slider. It will also show up as a thumbnail in blog listing and archive pages.

Some images do show up very strange.

One other question: We upload a 7M pictures via ‘Add Media’ and it automatically create a few different solutions
Which one is graphene slider using via the featured image? Because it seems the slider loads very slow (image size) ?

When you upload an image, it also gets cropped to the dimension of the slider, which in your case is 903×280.

If you change the size of the slider, either by changing the container width or column size, you will need to regenerate those different image sizes again. You can do this using the AJAX Thumbnail Rebuild plugin.
