posts on category-pages in an infinite loop?

    On all of my category-pages, the excerpts of the posts are repeated infinitely until a time out is reached. On the bottom of the (very long) page I see the message:

    Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in formatting.php on line 85

    I disabled most of my plugins but that didn’t help.

    Does anaybody have an idea?

    My mistake: I made an error in the category-loop.php in the childdirectory…
