Portfolio (images in grid from archive categories)

    Current archive categories are not suitable for galleries or photography based websites. It will be great if we can add “portfolio” which features images can be shown in grid from category/categories as random/latest with pagination option.

    Example as http://kockyn.com/wallpapers/

    It’s probably best to use a plugin for this. For images, NextGen Gallery is a good one.

    For the gallery there are plenty of plugins but for portfolio, there are few and most of them doesn’t work properly. The major difference is, nextgen or other gallery will not pull images from post feature image. This is where “Portfolio” plays a major role.

    This was just the thought, appreciated for the response.
