How to create submenus in the navigation

I have 6 main tabs in the navigation. I want to know how one can add sub menus. For example, I have a tab named careers in the main navigation bar. The Sub menus under that would be following: marketing, human resources, finance, operations and supply chain management.

Any suggestions?
