update changed me from two columns to one
-
Hello,
Every time I’ve updated the graphene theme, it’s messed up the widths of my columns. In the past I’ve been able to go into the style.css and adjust the widths back. However, I just upated to the latest version, and it seems to have removed the first column of my page, and has left me with only the second column. I’ve tried to go in and adjust the widths again, but it didn’t do anything. Any ideas?
My website is: http://www.catfails.com/
Thanks
Jerry
It seems you are missing your entire content area. I would disable all my widgets, and make sure it’s not coming from there.
If you still don’t see your content area, I would then de-activate my plugins.
If you STILL don’t see your content area, post back and I’ll have another look after you have done the two suggestions above.

That’s because you are not using a child theme.
@Josh: I did both suggestions and neither worked. It’s only happening on my homepage, the other pages are working fine…
@Kenneth: I wasn’t using a child theme that I know of before, why would I need one now? How do I do that?
Try going to graphene option -> general tab -> front page options
From here, select any category and save. Then, go back and change it to “disabled” and save again.
Do your posts show up now?

So that when you update the theme, you don’t lose any changes you’ve made.

Josh has an excellent tutorial. Check out his website.
@Josh: That worked! Thanks!
My pleasure.
