Trouble with "Posts Page"
-
I’m using WordPress as a CMS first and blog second. So, I’m wanting a static front page (with slider), sidebars left and right. Then I want to be able to go to a page and see the WordPress Loop.
I had this working previously. In WP Reading settings, I had “Front page displays” set to “A static page (select below)” and set Front Page to “Welcome” and Posts Page to “Blog.” Front Page was exactly what I wanted, customized, etc. Slider highlighted Featured Posts and Pages (thanks to other posts on this forum) and I could go to http://htaj.org/blog/ and see all posts, in reverse chronological order.
I don’t know when this stopped working, but I did upgrade the theme last week and skipped several major revisions (I think from 1.3.x to 1.5.6). I have a Child Theme but tried running stock Graphene and that did not help. I tried disabling all plugins, and I’m still having trouble. Front Page is still perfect at http:/htaj.org/. However, going to http://htaj.org/blog/ does not show anything except header and sidebar. There is no list of posts. Can’t seem to figure out what I’m doing wrong.
Could you switch to a default theme like Twenty Eleven for a while and check whether the same thing happens or not?
Could you give me temporary access to your admin area? I’ll check what’s happening..
Okay, try this – Post page not showing posts (Blog page) https://forum.graphene-theme.com/graphene-support/post-page-not-showing-posts-blog-page#post-10055
Really?? It’s still showing blank page here. Are you using any caching plugin??
Yeah! I can see posts now.. 🙂
