article preview in Slider does not show paragraphs

Hi all,

First of all thanks for the great theme!

I am writing to ask a question regarding the article preview in Slider: it is a very nice concept, but it does not show the correct paragraphs, all the text just goes to the same paragraph. Is it possible to show the correct paragraphs as they are shown in the article?

The same problem also exist when I choose to view all articles from archive or a certain category: all the text again goes into one paragraphs in the articles.

I found an option to not show excerpt but full text in archive 🙂

Is it possible to show “image thumbnail + full text” in Slider?

You can show the thumbnail, and “adjust” the text box to your liking. To do this will require a few steps.

1. Set up a child theme.

2. Adjust the number of characters graphene shows by default in the slider textbox using a custom function.

3. Edit the CSS in your child theme to “adjust” the slider text box.

An intermediate level hack.. but definitely doable.

Graphene Options >> Display >> Excerpt Display Options

in the box labeled “Retain these HTML tags in excerpts”, add <p>

Is it possible to show “image thumbnail + full text” in Slider?

I’m not quite sure how this would work. The slider is a fixed size. You can select “Full Post Content”, but anything that doesn’t fit in the slider is still going to be cut off.
