post date and custom post type

Hi there,

for my site I created some post types and now I realised that post date is not displayed on custom post types.

Any idea how to solve it?

I just tried it with the standard twentyeleven theme and it seems to be a general issue, because there the post date is also not displayed.

I’ll try to post it on wordpress.

what I found out now is:

graphene theme uses the_date or the_time functions, which seem not to work for custom post types (just a guess)

I now built a function with

echo get_the_date()

and it works for every post type.

Yes, this could easily be achieved with Graphene just by using Action Hook Widget areas and a PHP widget. See this tutorial.
