Static front page – posts not displaying in selected page

Hi and thanks for creating such a great theme, it has taken me from beginner to the proud owner of a social site and I do not think I could have done it without Graphene.

However I have a problem, I can’t seem to create a page of all of the blog posts.

I selected static from page and pointed the front page to the activity page to make the site home more like a social network site.

However, I want to create a page that displays all of the blogs my members have submitted and I’m struggling.

I thought what I had to do was create a new page “Blog Posts” and then associate the posts page with that page in the static front page options. However when I do that I get a blank page. Well the sidebar is shown, but there is no content.

Am I doing the right thing?

The “blog” page of a static front page points to posts (not pages) that you have written.

    Are you using multisite?

No this is a single site implementation.

Yes, So far I’ve written four blogs and with the static front page tied to activity I get a slider showing these blogs, however I want to have a page in the main menu called “blog posts” that will show all of the blogs much like the non-static front page did before I made it static and tied it to the activity feed.

Can you give us the link to the blog posts page?

That is odd, I had sorted out a workaround by redirecting to a blog category of “all”, I just reset my static front page setting to point to that page and it worked. Problem solved. Thanks for taking the time to answer my query.

Marking thread as resolved. You can do this yourself as well.
