Doesn't matter what settings i use the slider is stuck on one post, will show one then change as page loads sometimes.....

Disable all plugins and see if the issue still exists.
Are you using any JS minification plugin?

Yeah, same thing happened to me when I activated CloudFlare Rocket Loader.
