remove or change the container background, footer menu bar and rounded corners

Is it possible to modify the container background to either a colour or to am image?

Also, is it possible to remove the horizontal lines?

Another question is whether the footer menu bar can be removed and can the footer corners be rounded.

Sorry to burden you all with these finicky requests as it is such a great and flexible theme already, just so grateful for all the time you put in.
