Hi,
Hi, I'm new to building websites and trying to learn a little CSS as I go. I am needing a little help with getting my homepage pane width to match the width of the slider above it. Also I would like to adjust the color of the text in the post. I have looked over the forums and I have tried some of the things that have been mentioned for people with similar issues and it doesn't seem to work. I don't know if I have something set wrong or what. Can anyone give me some guidance? Thanks in advance!

Add to the theme's Custom CSS feature:
```
.two-columns .homepage_pane {
	width: 630px !important;
}
```
By the way, if you want to display just one home page pane, why not just use the "5 Simple Rules" page as the static front page?

Thanks! That did exactly what I needed.

The 5 Simple Rules is more like a test page and what I am aiming to do is have a particular category of posts show up on the front page under the slider anytime something is posted to that category. So as more posts appear in that category more posts appear on the homepage.
