Hello Everyone,

I created and manage a website for a 107 year old business in Steamboat Springs, CO. I have slowly tweaked the site over the years, and I would love to have some fresh eyes give me some advice and suggestions. I'm really up for any thoughts, be they negative or positive. Any feedback is awesome!

P.S. I love the Graphene theme. It is so incredibly user friendly, and has made my life so much simpler. I recommend it to all my Wordpress using friends. :) Thanks for creating such an amazing theme!

A couple quick ones:
- Lighten the box shadow of the bottom widgets a bit
- Tweak the footer menu items labels so that they all sit on the same line as "Copyright"

Awesome, thank you!

I lightened the bottom widget boxes and it looks much better.

As for the the menu items and the copyright all being on the same line, I had some issues. It doesn't fit well on the same line, so I thought I'd put it on the same line as the developer links. I thought I'd do as this post suggested, but unfortunately I don't have access to the child theme. I tried deactivating the developer section as mentioned in this post, and inserting it all using the graphene_footer action hook, but that moved it to the left in the same line as the menu items where it doesn't fit or look right. I think I'll just have to get access to the child theme and tweak it at some point. Is there any way to change the developer text itself without editing the child theme?

Is there any way to change the developer text itself without editing the child theme?

You can use the Codestyling Localization plugin, but that would be an overkill for this.

Why not just change some of the labels to be shorter, like changin "Friends of F.M. Light and Sons" to just "Our Friends"?

Great looking site. May I ask, on the about page how did you create the thin and thick lines between the text? "The rugged west must have seemed so very far from the farmlands they left in Ohio"

Thank you! Isn't that a cool effect? It's actually an option that the Graphene theme includes. It can be accessed on the kitchen sink of your Wordpress - when you're creating a page or a post. You select the text you want, and then click the button and it adds this code:

[pullquote align="left|center|right" textalign="left|center|right" width="30%"]YOUR TEXT HERE[/pullquote]

All you have to do is change the alignment to what you want and you're set!
