Second Menu Level doesn't work, if third added

    Hi together,

I love your theme guys, so I would also lieke to help make it better.

On my website http://www.schachow.de I have updated the theme to the newest version. Now I have the problem, that the second level of the Top menu doesn’t work (you can’t open this page). Now it just opens the third level, if you klick on it. I think the solution before was better. Mouseover to open the next level and klick to open page.

    Hope I could help.

Yes, we will restore this functionality in the next theme update.

I like Graphene, which I’ve been using for several years, but I want to move to a responsive theme.

    So I’m evaluating Franz Josef.

I agree it’s essential to be able to open the parent page of the next level.

Mouseover to open the next level is great.

But since this is a responsive theme it needs to work on a phone/tablet where you don’t have mouseover.

It could be a short click to open the next level and a long click to open the link.

Graphene has the useful option that if a second level page is empty it will list the children.

Another theme (maybe Atahualpa) has an option that if a second level parent has no content, then the link it not clickable.

That is also a useful solution.

You’re absolutely right, it should also work for mobile devices with touch displays. It worked also in this way in the last version. For desktop it was mouseover for next level and klick for open site. For touch devices it was one touch to open next level and second touch for open site. I think this is quite common for touch displays.

I would be happy to test the fix for you ahead of your next update.

I’m migrating my old Graphene site to a new host and have a limited window of parallel running where I could install and fully test a new theme.

Franz Josef is a serious contender for my new theme but I would have to rule it out if the menus don’t work..
